(IntegrityTimes.com) – A new lawsuit, which was filed on July 3, has brought fresh allegations of sex trafficking against rapper and producer Sean “Diddy” Combs. Former adult film actress Adria English claims in the lawsuit that a sex trafficking “cycle” left her “trapped”. She said the rapper was aware that he could groom her and that she did not ask to be in the situation, which she claimed has left her with traumatic memories throughout her adult life.
The latest lawsuit is the tenth filed against Combs accusing him of sex trafficking and physical abuse. One accuser, his former girlfriend Cassanda Ventura, accused him of sexual assault and sex trafficking. Her lawsuit was settled in November 2023. Lawyers representing Combs, who is also known as Puff Daddy and P. Diddy, have claimed his accusers are only after money and branded the allegations “sickening” and “baseless”. Combs, 54, denies all charges.
Surveillance footage from 2016 showed Combs chasing Ventura down a hallway in a hotel before assaulting her by the elevator and dragging her towards her room. The actor posted a video in May 2024 apologizing for the incident and said he takes “full responsibility”. County prosecutors in Los Angeles opted against charging Combs following the release of the video.
Ventura, a singer-songwriter, also accused Combs of forcing her to take drugs and have sex with prostitutes, and claimed that on one occasion he forced his way into her room and repeatedly raped her. Combs’ $40 million mansion was raided by U.S. law enforcement in March 2024 following the mounting allegations.
Rodney Jones, a producer who worked for Combs in 2022 and 2023, filed a lawsuit in February 2024 in which he said Combs’ associates subjected him to “unwanted advances”. Jones, also known as “Lil Rod”, claimed he was forced to have sex with prostitutes hired by Combs and that he was threatened, drugged and harassed by the rapper for over a year.
Combs’ attorney, Jonathan Davis, commented on the new accusations, claiming that no amount of allegations would change the fact that his client is innocent. Davis praised the existence of an “impartial” justice system and expressed confidence that Combs would be proven innocent in court. Davis suggested that Combs is a victim of a society in which lawsuits can be filed without proof or reason.
