Hazmat Crews Called to Donald Trump Jr.’s House Over Suspicious White Powder in Letter

(IntegrityTimes.com) – Donald Trump Jr. contacted authorities on February 26 after opening his mail and discovering an envelope with a death threat and an unknown substance inside. A hazmat team and the local fire department arrived at Trump Jr.’s home in Jupiter, Florida, to investigate. According to his spokesperson, officials did not believe that the substance was deadly, but the initial test results were inconclusive. The Secret Service declined to provide any additional information, but the FBI confirmed that it had responded to the incident.

Trump Jr. shared the letter with The Daily Caller. It began with a wild suggestion that the grandson of Lee Harvey Oswald should follow through with killing former President Trump. The typed letter contained the names of all of the Trump children, Kimberly Guilfoyle, Jared Kushner, California Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom, and Lara Trump. The author seemed upset that former President Trump was backing Lara Trump for a political position, likely referring to his recommendation that she become the co-chair of the Republican National Committee (RNC). The author then questioned when the Trump family would apply for citizenship in the Soviet Union.

The letter included compliments to Mary Trump, who is at odds with the entire Trump family. The author concluded by declaring that it was time for the Trump family to die in a plane crash in the Atlantic Ocean. Back in February 2018, Vanessa Trump, who was married to Trump Jr. at the time, opened a letter that contained a powdery substance. She was immediately sent to the hospital as a precautionary measure, but the substance was later found to be harmless. Trump Jr. told The Daily Caller that regardless of politics, “this type of crap is unacceptable.” He said that the media would likely brush the matter under the rug because it happened to a Republican, but if it had happened to a Democrat, “it would drive news coverage for weeks.”
